The Rescue Lake Simcoe Coalition, its sister organization The Rescue Lake Simcoe Advocacy Network, and its member organizations have committed over 18,000 hours of volunteer and student time in 2006 to ensure a healthier future for Lake Simcoe and its watershed. This year alone:

• We instigated or participated in 20 Lake meetings, workshops and rallies
• We wrote 13 briefs and submissions to government and groups
• We developed relationships with 22 other organizations who are concerned about Lake Simcoe
• We appeared in 14 newspaper articles and on 34 TV and radio programs
• We have become active participants on the Working Group for the LSRCA's One Voice Action Plan with the goal of setting in place one organization for Lake Simcoe that brings government agencies and groups together in common purpose.
